Kayla Goulden is a photographer and practicing artist living in Portland, Maine. Growing up she spent most of her days running through woods, exploring beaches, and meandering through small cities. Surrounded by such diversity, she was excited by the small details of everything that made these places what they were, whether those details be inanimate objects or people around her. She has found a way through photography to express her desire to reveal and describe these details and seemingly unnoticeable moments that frequently surround us in our everyday lives. Her works are attempts in revealing to her audience the need to preserve and ponder what we so easily overlook.
